My Lake, My Feelings

I have a lake.
Sometimes my lake has clear, shiny, reflective water with lily pads on top,
and fish as colorful as ever swimming around them.
In some moments my lake is gray and there are no fish--
only snakes in my lake.
Sometimes my lake is still--
no movement but the wind blowing into nothing.

All as It Was in a Timeless Place

All as it was in a timeless place.
The birds were chirping.
The mist was soft, dark and quiet.
The trees were smooth as a rock.
The sky, plain, dark, and gray.
A woodpecker began to knock on the tree.
I saw soft and muddy outside.
The pond water was a dark, shadow black.
In the end of the woods, the sky got dark like a shadow.
No one could see any more.
The whole world was covered with a blue blanket.
Outside, the stars look like a white rose blooming in the sky at night.
